Esther’s Banter Benefit

Join friends, family and supporters at Banter for a night of music and community featuring two wonderful groups. The occasion: a benefit for Denton resident and friend, Esther Phelps, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

There is a suggested donation of $5.00 for this event, but please give what you can for Esther. All proceeds will go toward her treatment and medical care.

6-8 p.m. – playing the music of Frank Sinatra:
Brian Clancy – Saxophones, Flute
Paul Metzger – Guitar
Joey Carter – Keyboard
Nathan Phelps – Bass
Ann MacMillan – Drums
Also featuring: Drew Zaremba – Vocals

8-10 p.m. – Saxophonist Mario Cruz and FriendsBanter Bistro, 219 W. Oak St., is located one block west of Denton’s downtown courthouse square. The establishment is family-friendly, non-smoking, and offers just about everything a music venue could ask for! In addition to a great menu complete with paninis, salads, flatbread pizza, and other creations. Banter features a wide variety of craft beers and wines, espresso drinks, and select vegan and gluten-free baked goods. So, just walk in, place your order if you like and grab a seat at the counter, a table or a couch if there’s one open!
