The surprisingly cooler, wetter summer may stay around a few more days (average temp. is 96, record high, 109, according to WFAA.com) so we have little excuse to miss the great Jazz shows scheduled through July 23. Highlights for the next few days include Stereo Phelps Thursday at Sweetwater, saxophonist Brian Clancy at Banter Bistro and Brave Combo at Dan’s Silverleaf

Thursday, July 18:
