With University of North Texas Fall semester now underway, UNT Jazz faculty and students are playing many of Denton’s Live Jazz venues, including UNT on the Square. Added to this week’s busy

schedule is Denton Black Chamber of Commerce Annual Blues Fest at Quakertown Park, Saturday and Sunday, a free event. (Please remember to bring folding chairs or blankets, comfortable shoes, hat or umbrella, sunscreen.) Sweetwater Grill & Tavern has added even more dates on the Live Music schedule to include Classic Country (Kristy Kruger) , and a rousing mix of Country, Jazz and Bluegrass (Boxcar Bandits).
