must give a nod to other music genres as Denton live music venues stretch their offerings. This week opens the door for favorites such as A Taste of Herb, the wonderful variety of music performed at Banter Bistro, University of North Texas College of Music presents some of the finest Classical and Jazz music anywhere, and a very special Saturday night performance by Assum Trio from Brazil – playing with the well-known Brazilian Samba group Brasuka! at Sweetwater, 9:30-11:30 p.m.

Earlier this week, we heard from the Bach Norwood Group at Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, (good to see Bach after touring with Polyphonic Spree), A Taste of Herb (TJB tribute) at Dan’s Silverleaf, followed by Denton’s own Moody-Blues-esque band Midlake – playing two nights. The second show was sold out by the first of the week.
