Texas friends: Hope to see you at the Greenhouse on Monday, September 8, to celebrate the release of my debut album as a leader, Intentions.
We will be playing selections from the record as well as some of our favorite standards and more. This is the first time CDs will be available! No cover/CDs – $10.

Tuesday, Sept. 9:

  • Seems like old times! The Sweetwater Jazz Quartet plays the refurbished Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S. Elm St. 7-9 p.m. Come by to try the new menu, by Chef Scott, and extended beer list. The stay to listen to Jim Riggs, Neil Slater, Ron Fink and Lou Carfa play some be-bop, straight ahead and classic Jazz on the patio stage.
  • Meanwhile, across town at the Rasoi the Indian Kitchen, 1002 Ave C, Spenser Liszt and the Legion presents: Live @ Rasoi, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. every other Tuesday. $5 Cover. BYOB.
    The Denton music scene is known for taking advantage of local artists. The Legion is here to change that. We are currently hosting shows at Rasoi, where we recognize the value of live music and art. So many people ask where they can listen to great live music in Denton at an affordable price that doesn’t start in the middle

Thursday, Sept. 11:

Wine Squared, 110 W Oak St, offers up Live Jazz paired with fine wine tonight, 8 p.m.
