35 Denton scheduled in-door performances Friday night, and by Saturday, still cloudy and cool, crowds thronged to listen to in-  and outdoor music.

Event-planner’s moral: Don’t rely on weather forecasts, expect Texas weather to do what it likes, and Carry On!

Today is Saint Patrick’s Day – and so, wear green, enjoy the beautiful Spring-like weather (Spring officially begins Thursday), and go enjoy amazing Denton Live Jazz.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! While you’re drinking green beer and counting shamrock leaves, you might end up debating a popular St. Irishman_Saint_Patrick_2Patrick’s Day question: Is it St. Patty’s Day or St. Paddy’s Day?

It’s easy to think that Patrick ought to be shortened as “Patty”. The name contains a T rather than a D, after all. However, “Paddy” comes from the Irish name Padraig, which is the reason St. Paddy’s Day is spelled with a D instead of a T. – Grammarly.com
